Welcome to

Das Action Projekt

ACTION project is broken down into 4 core phases:

  • 1st phase: The consortium will assess the current training programmes, offered to immigrant learners, by evaluating their impact on immigrants.
  • 2nd phase: Having finalized all features that need to be covered in the design of a training programme for teachers, trainers and administrative staff, we prepare a tailored madetraining programme, as well as a partners’ repository, in which the consortium will upload useful material for their professional development and training.
  • 3rd phase: We will pilot the aforementioned training programme to teachers, by organizing peer learning activities (i.e workshops, discussion seminars etc.).
  • 4th phase: Trained tutors and staff will introduce immigrants into the training programme, in order to receive feedback on how to improve it.

ACTION project aims to adjust VET systems (Teachers/Trainers/Staff/Learners etc) to future labor market’s challenges, with actions foreseen at EU and National level. More specifically, it  aims at:

  • Assessing prior knowledge and skills of educators and other personnel who support immigrant learners, by identifying the impact of current training programmes on immigrants’ labor market integration. Within this context, we promote efficient and integrated guidance services within our training programme.
  • Fostering the enhancement of teaching methods and tools, as well as the promotion of mutual motivation of learning, through the organization of joint staff meetings among VET educators and key personnel. In these meeting, they are going to exchange experiences and good practices in the field of immigrants’ labor market integration. As a result, they will be able to address possible challenges of immigrant adult learners in education. Moreover, we aim to develop partnerships with small and medium enterprises, responsible for the overview of the whole design process.

Improving the existing skillset of VET educators, specialized in immigrants’ labor market integration, through the organization of workshops and multiplier events in partner countries
